I was very happy to be able to pick up your double CD. It's all I have had in my car CD player for about the last couple of months.

I'm a part of the St. Louis/Univ. of Missouri fan club from the 70s. From the big shows to the little, the music stands up to all of the other country rock bands of our era. I brought my girlfriend to the Barn show as well. She was not really tuned into the music that I followed growing up, but she thoroughly enjoyed the tunes with never having heard a Heartsfield song before. It was like having you guys playing in my living room.
The music is very emotional to me, as I associate so much of it to the great times in college. It's very personal and really hard to express in words. Like one of my fraternity brothers, who has a posting on your website, certain songs almost bring me to tears. I mean that in a good way.

I hope that you guys will continue to do your shows in the midwest, especially Chicago.
We'll continue to sing the praises of Heartsfield.
