Tomah is my new baby boy, just turned 3 months. He is a rescued dog from a litter from down Katrina way and offically he is a "Catahoula Louisiana Leopard Dog" mixed with Black Lab, I know you, like me, probably never heard of that type of creature.

Since his arrival, his nickname is Catahoula Devil Dog cause he sure do have the Hoodoo in him. These guys are bred to hunt wild boar, no easy task and get this, they can climb trees, I ain't joking. He has webbed paws to better run through the Louisana swamps, I swear this boy IS part Leopard, born of some dark Voodoo Hoodoo spell that combined a wild dog and black cat by some old Cajun Priestess in the dark foggy swamps of bayou mystery. I consider myself somewhat good at dog rearin' but this little feller (gonna be at least 110 lbs.) will put my skill to a real test seems he has a mind of his own. Almost lost him the first week (spent 3 days in intensive care), he was quite sick but now he is strong as a Wild Hog, with the heart of a lion. As sweet as he is tough, I believe he is the only one out of the litter to survive, now let's just see if I do!!!!
