This is our pal Bernadette (Bernie) who left us just a few days after her 13th birthday. She was a best friend to me, Mary Beth and our kids Kellie and Joe, who have never known a world without her. She'd entertain us, listen to us, get us up off our sorry butts sometimes and comfort us when we were ailing.
