#1 Howdy y'all

Welcome to the new neighborhood !!!!!! This is part of the new site that I set aside so we could have some quality time and communication with each other, sort of like a good CB radio signal (are those still around?) or a good ole' town meetin' in front of the general store. I hope you check back regularly and I will attempt to make the visit wacky, full of tid bits, a scary view into a crazy German Hillbilly's mind and straight from the hip. Hip that reminds me.

Things been slow around the Heartsfield ranchos',the boys and I have been a bit scarce lately for reasons mostly of my doin'. I had to get myself into the saw bone man and get a long overdue hip replacement done, putting my myself at the mercy of walkers, crutches and wild eyed needle wielding nurses stickin' pokin' and smilin' with sheer pleasure at my every grimace of pain. Nothing like a bit of humility, being a temporary gimp boy, to make a feller appreciate the things he had, that ole' concept of stop and smell the roses, walk a mile in his shoes, get's away from us and from time to time but the world has it's ways of slapppin' us upside the head and sayin' "HELLO MR. REMEMBER WHAT YOU HAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Anyway all is well, the recuperating is well ahead of schedule and March has the band out working hard again. Thanks to all who sent well wishes, they helped more than them darn pain pills, whew!!!

Here's a short summary of what all the boys been doin':

Elmer went to Venice Italy road a gondola, tried to stay warm and danced in an opera. The reviews were great and he looked so good in those tights especially with the cowboy hat still on. Oh yeah he backed up Pavaroti on dobro, something about the "Aria of the Dead Pig" or something.

Dave did a great christmas show with some of his pals, sort of a play/concert thing. He is now Rogers or Hammerstien or maybe Broadway Dave. Recorded a new CD with some down home pals that sounds great. He also contributed a hefty sum of money to the Chevy Truck Repair Charity, his repaired gas pump cost more than my car.

Steve has been trying his hot hand as an ebay mogul, waiting for a huge snowfall to pull out the Hummer size snow blower on. Stever also has been working on me and him taking some vocal lessons, he is such a perfectionist , he is always trying to sound better, vocalholic. I refused and said my hollerin' is just scratchy enough. Minister Steve also came over and did some laying on of hands to heal me faster and cast the devil out of me, love that guy.

Scott has been attending quite a few cheer leading play offs, he says it's because his daughter is in them but we know better. You never know where you'll find ole' drummer boy out pounding the tubs, he is in high demand but his heart belongs to us but he sneaks out quite a bit to stay on top of his chops. Also he (ha ha) and Barb made me a few FANTASTIC meals CATFISH, I played the sympathy card very well. Lord home cookin' by Barb is a bit of heaven.

Eric is moving on to strictly acoustic geetar land, more detail later.

Hillbilly Jordan has had too much time to think about life, the world and how it all works or doesn't work. Viewed more movies than most people do in 5 years. Had the privilege of doing a batch of personalized love songs for some folks as Valetine day presents, great to help people get closer and share some love. Been working with a very cool songwritn' lady Carol Turner at my little studio "Herr Jordan" to get her songs arranged and recorded and hopefully on to Nashville, love doin' that. Doing CD cover design for some CD releases and getting instructed on website updating from a great CD designer my pal,Tony Griff. Have also had the fun of playing and hanging with JC a lot.Want to also thank Chance Trevor and Molly, my 3 dogs for being great company, giving undying devotion and making me get up struggle to the door every 10 frickin' minutes to let them in or out, they consider me the doggie butler.

Well better get back to the DVD remote, still got 2 aisles left at Blockbuster !!!!!! Ya'll stay safe and warm remember spring is comin soon, love that spring fever thang, romance and passion take over, my rule MAKE LOVE EVEN IF THERE IS WAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hear Yee Hear Yee doing a show with JC Hartsfield in South Haven Michigan this Saturday 2/22, my my, now that's a receipt for some good listening.

By the way anyone else seen more coyote's than normal around?

Keep On Smilin',
Lil' Pierre
